3G Modem
The new 3G Modem provides increased data transfer speeds and
replaces the GPRS modem for all future orders.
A combined 3G/GPS/WLAN roof mounted antenna is available.

On Screen Display
This option allows the user to overlay text on video recordings made using Microbus’s Integrated Digital Video Recorder. The text is saved as an integral part of the recording and remains in place for playback. For example: GPS position

USB 4 port hub
Provides additional USB 2.0 connectivity. Power is provided by the vehicle battery but only enabled when the M-PC2 is switched on.

Screen Mounting Options
A range of screen mounting options is available allowing installation in most makes of vehicle. These include DIN (Radio slot) mounting plates. hinge plate, ball joints and truck mounts. |

DIN/Plate Kit
Utilise the DIN slot in the vehicle with this secure mounting option that incorporates the Dashboard DIN box and Hinge Plate. It features a heavy duty variable torque hinge which facilitates access to the dashboard controls without having an adverse effect on the touchscreen’s use in its normal position.

Hinge Plate only
This fixing plate can be used as part of the DIN slot mounting or as a stand-alone solution to secure a touchscreen directly to the dashboard of the vehicle. Features: Rugged Metal Construction, heavy duty hinge.

Fascia panel options
Replacement dash/fascia adaptors (FMVSS 302 compliant) to further enable secure, effective and discreet installation of the Screen. This adaptor replaces the existing dash which can be stored and added back at the vehicle's disposal, thus enhancing the resale value.

Ideally suited to larger vehicles, this mounting option features a pan and tilt head with secure fixings for larger screens

Rugged Printers
Rugged Printrex unit with 8 dot thermal printing on standard A4 paper. 12/24V power with serial interface to the system computer. Printrex printers for mobile applications meet e-mark specifications.

Relay box
This allows a more integrated control of vehicle equipment by providing connections from some of the vehicle controls and peripheral devices such as: radio, emergency lightbars or a siren. Using a digital I/O connection to the computer, the box provides a total of 8 relays, each capable of switching up to 30A. The vehicle ignition may be connected to the In-vehicle computer so that when the vehicle is started, the mobile computer (plus radio etc) starts automatically.

Battery backup
The backup service battery option will prevent the In-vehicle computer from losing power immediately if the vehicle battery fails. The computer monitors the primary power source (usually the vehicle battery). If primary power is lost or interrupted, the computer switches over to the backup service battery. The computer can then run on the backup until primary power is restored or the backup is exhausted (approximately 11 minutes)

Protective Cage
If the computer unit is installed in a location where it is likely to come into contact with loose objects, such as in a car boot, the perforated metal cage protects the main unit and its connectors from damage.
