Microbus In-vehicle PCs are designed for installation and use in a wide range of vehicles to offer the users the full functionality of a desktop PC. These systems are designed specifically for use in the harsh vehicle environment and manage temperature, shock & vibration and voltage. Having full control over all aspects of design, manufacture and test, Microbus can develop versions of the In-vehicle PC to meet specific user needs. The Microbus In-vehicle PCs are available as complete systems, with the end user being able to define exact build requirements for a range of uses and variety of vehicle models.

You can choose a screen size that best suits the vehicle, the choice of screen resolution also needs to be decided. In some cases the computer unit is used without a screen.

The computer unit is separate from the screen and is usually installed out of sight in the rear of the vehicle; a single panel cable connects the two, running up to a maximum of 15M. This single cable carries power, touch and display data to the screen The computer unit runs directly off the vehicle power and includes a high performance processor, hard disk running Windows XP or 2000, and an extensive set of features supporting multiple camera inputs, GPRS, CAD, ANPR/LPR, AVL, mapping and navigation, traffic law enforcement, surveillance video as well as many others.

All Microbus In-vehicle PCs meet regulatory emission and immunity requirements to ensure that they do not cause conflict with the operation of other electronic systems within the vehicle. Certifications include e-mark, E-mark, A&ES5 Issue 9 Class 1 and CE mark.

	Linx demountable tablet PC with integrated TETRA modem The LINX is a rugged and ergonomic demountable tablet PC built around the needs of the field-based worker. 	Screens High brightness TFT touchscreens featuring ruggedised casings, software controlled brightness including day & night settings, a wide range of sizes and resolutions, status indicators and button functions including the Microbus OnScreen control fast application switching.
	iDVR - Integrated Digital Video Recorder In-Vehicle MPEG2 Hardware/Software Digital recording solution.
	System Control Software Included on every system is the Microbus MP5Control software which enables you to control and test various M-PC2, M-PC and MP5 functions and hardware peripherals under Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating systems.
	Accessories A range of accessories have been selected by Microbus for use with the In-vehicle PCs including rugged backlit keyboards, speakers, screen mountings and relay boxes. All accessories listed are only for sale with the system unit.
